Your day begins with a pick-up from your hotel or a pre-decided location in Jaipur by a private car and local guide.
First, you head to Amber Fort, a stunning hilltop fortress known for its artistic Hindu-style elements. Take a jeep ride (or optional elephant ride) up to the entrance and explore the grand courtyards, mirror palace (Sheesh Mahal), and royal halls inside.
Next, visit Jal Mahal, the charming Water Palace sitting quietly in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. It’s a perfect photo stop and a refreshing sight between destinations.
Afterwards, stop by the City Palace, the former royal residence still partly occupied by the descendants of the royal family. Walk through its museums, courtyards, and intricate galleries that reflect Jaipur’s regal past.
Right next door is Jantar Mantar, the royal observatory and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its massive astronomical instruments are still surprisingly accurate and reveal how advanced ancient Indian science was.
Your final stop is at Hawa Mahal, or the Palace of Winds—an iconic five-story structure with 953 small windows. Though the view from outside is most famous, you can also enter and climb to the top for panoramic views of the city.
By evening, you can explore the local markets for Rajasthani textiles, jewelry, blue pottery, or handmade leather items. After a full day of sightseeing, you’ll be dropped back at your hotel.
